At the Theatre Royal this Christmas, your little ones can enjoy a day full of creative play and participation that brings stories to life with drama games, live music, songs, and crafts. Fairytale of New York

Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow, G2 3NY

After two sell-out tours on West End, this Christmas show is back in Glasgow with an international cast of singers, dancers and musicians. The show brings you all of your favourite Christmas songs in an Irish-themed show that has received rave reviews since it began.

Tickets are £26.32, and the show is on from late November.

The Muppets: A Christmas Carol in Concert

SEC Armadillo, Glasgow, G3 8YW

Disney’s much loved 1992 musical comedy, The Muppet Christmas Carol, will be live in concert at the SEC Armadillo in Glasgow this November. The music score from the film will be performed live to the film by an orchestra. A must for lovers of the original film and little ones who have yet to experience it!

Tickets prices start at £35.20, and the show is on Sunday 26th November.

Love Actually in Concert

Another family-friendly Christmas show, this event at the Glasgow Concert Hall is a hugely popular performance that will have you and your little ones giggling, sitting on the edge of your seat, and smiling so much that your face hurts. It is accompanied by the RSNO Youth Choruses this year, making it extra special!

Tickets are available from £8.60 for children and £13.44 for adults, and the event is on Saturday 9th December.

The City of Glasgow Chorus

Want some proper Christmas choir sounds? Of course you do. Well, at the Glasgow Concert Hall this December, you can enjoy all of the well-rehearsed carolling of the Glasgow Chorus and orchestra. Bless your ears with some real, live Christmas music this festive season.

Tickets are £22.40 and the event is on Sunday 17th December.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarves

It wouldn’t really be Christmas without some classic “he’s behind you!” and a delightful panto dame. For those who love a bit of pantomime Christmas tradition, Glasgow has a right treat for you this year in the form of a smashing Snow White performance.

Christmas Shows Stirling 2023

A Christmas Carol

15 – 18 December 2023

Stirling Castle, Stirling, FK8 1EJ

From Friday 15th December 2023 to Monday 18th December 2023, Chapterhouse Theatre Company is putting on an incredible show in the shape of the classic Dickens tale. It follows Ebeneezer Scrooge’s journey through his past, present and future, during which the grumpy old man’s Christmas spirit is reawakened.

The shows have authentic costuming and brilliant musical sequencing, and on the 17th and 18th December will be BSL interpreted. For just £19 per adult, you can experience one of the best Christmas stories out there in the Great Hall of a fantastic historic castle.

On Friday 19th December 2023 the National Youth Choir of Scotland are bringing a night of Christmas joy to the Great Hall of Stirling Castle with some truly wonderful festive melodies. Tickets are only £16 per adult, with discounts for concessions, children and Historic Scotland members.

The McDougalls Big Christmas Show

2nd December 2023

The Tolbooth, Stirling, FK8 1DE

The McDougalls Big Christmas Show is a huge musical show for the whole family. Ran by a children’s theatre company, it features stars of both stage and screen coming together to sing festive songs and host a Christmas musical extravaganza for everyone to enjoy. Find it at the Tolbooth this festive season.

The show is about 60 minutes long and for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) it is only £38, and single tickets are £10.

It’s A Wonderful Life

The iconic Christmas film is back at the cinema at The Tolbooth on December 16th 2023. For only £4 (or £9 with a mulled wine and mince pie) you can enjoy this classic from way back when on the big screen! What better way to get yourself in the Christmas spirit this December?
