Terms and Conditions
We ask that all guests abide by the coronavirus guidelines issued by the Scottish Government. This includes any limitations on large group gatherings or get to togethers with members of different households.
Any guest who is experiencing any Coronavirus symptoms, or has been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Coronavirus in the three weeks prior to their stay, should not travel.
Anyone who breaches Coronavirus regulations will be asked to leave the premises and will not be offered a refund unless there are exceptional circumstances. This is to protect the health and safety of other guests and our staff.
1.1.1 Developing Coronavirus symptoms
In the event that you or anyone in your lodge develops symptoms of COVID-19 during your stay, you should book a test through the NHS Inform website or call them directly: Telephone: 0800 0282 816 Website: www.nhsinform.scot
We offer our guests the Booking Protect scheme which covers you in the event that you, or a member of the party, contracts COVID-19 and is therefore unable to travel. Please see our cancelation policy, specifically section ‘2.6.2 Booking Protect’ for more information.
Guests who need to self-isolate should travel home if they can do so safely, avoiding the use of public transport. If you are unable to do this, and your accommodation here is the safest place, then you should self-isolate here. In these circumstances, you will be liable for costs for any extended stay. There is assistance available for those who may need to isolate via the National Assistance Helpline: National Assistance Helpline: 0800 1114 000
We offer our guests the Booking Protect scheme which covers you in the event that you, or a member of the party, are required to self-isolate. Please see our cancelation policy, specifically section ‘2.6.2 Booking Protect’ for more information.
If you are prevented from travelling due to enforced government travel restrictions, our preference is to re-schedule your stay for a suitable date in the future, failing that we will provide a credit note for future use. If you choose to move dates to the same time & price bracket (i.e. mid-week or weekend) next year, then we will waive the annual price difference. If you choose to move dates to a different time of year which subsequently increases the price of your booking, the additional amount will be added to your final balance payment. If you choose to move your stay to a different time of year which reduces the overall price of your booking, we will process a partial refund for you. If neither of those options are suitable, we will also be happy to provide a full refund, minus the £50 administration fee, should that be your preference.
A contract exists between Loch Lomond Waterfront and the lead person named on the booking once we receive your deposit payment and you receive a booking confirmation letter by post or by email. Online booking summaries are automatically generated and do not constitute confirmation of a reservation by themselves. The hirer’s name will be on the booking form and they agree to take full responsibility for all members of their party and for ensuring that they all adhere to the Terms and Conditions. When the hirer is not present for the stay a Responsible Person must be nominated. This person must also be 25 years or older. The names, addresses and ages of all members of the party must be shared with the Management on request.
The person responsible for the booking must be aged 25 years or over. If the person making the booking is not going to be present during the stay, they must nominate another guest to take full responsibility of the party. This person must also be 25 years or older.
A 30% non-refundable deposit is payable in advance to secure a booking. The balance will be due 56 days before arrival. When a booking is requested less than 56 days prior to arrival the full cost of the stay will be required to secure the booking.
When booking online or by phone, your card details will be retained securely on our booking system and used to process your deposit payment. The balance payment will be processed automatically 56 days before arrival. If you wish to use a different card for your balance or security deposit you should contact the office prior to the due date that is shown on your booking summary.
If a balance payment is not made we reserve the right to cancel a booking and retain the deposit. Entry to properties will be allowed only when payment in full has been cleared beforehand.
2.3.1 Special offers
Occasionally, we offer discounted rates and special promotions which may include lower deposits. If you book using one of our special offers, you are bound by the terms in that offer. Usually, our special offers are non-refundable or amendable, but each offer will have its own terms.
We will require a security deposit of £200 to be held against your card prior to arrival. This will usually be processed on the day of arrival but may be processed any time up to 48 hours prior to arrival. The amount held will be released within one week but usually the day after departure.
Your security deposit is required in case there is any damage to your lodge during your stay. In addition, management reserve the right to withhold your security deposit if you cause noise disturbance that interferes with the enjoyment of other lodge guests.
We do not accept bookings which are, or which we deem to be, hen or stag parties or are probable cause of noise and disturbance. Please see the section on ‘security deposits’ for further information about noise disturbance. Other groups should contact our reservation team to discuss their requirements.
You have a confirmed booking when the deposit has been paid and processed. You are then responsible for the full rental cost even if you subsequently cancel.
2.6.1 24 hour cooling off period
If you require to cancel your booking at Loch Lomond Waterfront within 24 hours of making it, you will be entitled to a full refund.

This refund protection allows you to apply for a full refund on your order should you, or anyone in your party, be unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. This includes injury, illness, travel trouble and other unexpected events. Full details can be found in their terms and conditions link on the booking page or they can be viewed here.
2.6.3 Change of dates
Changes to the date of your booking can be made up to eight weeks prior to your stay for no additional charge. Once the full balance payment has been made, no changes can be made to the date of your booking. However, management will consider exceptional circumstances, under which you would be required to pay a £50 administration fee.
2.6.4 Cancellations made by you
If you need to cancel your booking, you can do so up to eight weeks prior to arrival and you will only forfeit your 30% non-refundable deposit.

Such a beautiful setting'Myself and my partner recently stayed in Drummond Lodge (from 21-24 Feb) and we just wanted to say thank you so much for a lovely stay. We loved our lodge, it was like a home from home, and we really didn’t want to leave! It was spotlessly clean and in such a beautiful setting. All the staff we met were really friendly. We also loved Balmaha, what a wonderful village. So thank you very much! We are the couple that took Flynn for a walk and we took this photo of him... we thought you’d appreciate a copy. Thanks once again...
