Things to do in Arnprior
Arnprior is around a 20-minute drive from Loch Lomond Waterfront. Don’t be fooled by how small this village is. It has lots of enterprising things happening! So, here are some of our favourite things to do in and around Arnprior.
Places to visit in Arnprior
Arnprior Farm is a very proactive farm in the area and famous for its pumpkins! Here you can get involved with lambing, hire their eco swimming pool. And yes, pick your own pumpkins in October. The village is also home to Steven Burgess Furniture and Interiors. Not your run of the mill furniture here, but unique, bespoke, hand-crafted pieces. It is well worth a visit to be inspired.
Take a road trip
Arnprior is part of a stretch of local villages, heading towards Stirling. They make for a great little road trip, starting at Loch Lomond Waterfront in Balmaha, then passing through Drymen, Balfron, Buchlyvie, Arnprior, Kippen and Gargunnock. Before reaching the city of Stirling. The drive takes about an hour, and there is much to see along the way.
The Loch Lomond area is a treasure trove of beautiful sites and attractions. So why not take a look at our guide to Loch Lomond villages, towns and cities, and plan your own road trip. You can also view our favourite local walks, historical sites, family adventures, outdoor activities and more in our extensive things to do section. Could not have been happier'We could not have been happier with our choice of Loch Lomond Waterfront as our wedding venue! The amazing, stunning and extremely scenic location is really just the start of a long list of great things about this venue. We loved having site exclusivity for the whole weekend, it really made the atmosphere fun and got everyone socialising well. The wedding coordinator/manager, Sheena, is AMAZING and a total credit to the venue!! She is a dynamo that makes everything seem easy. We also loved how much flexibility and choice we had with pretty much everything about our wedding, and how...

An absolutely amazing wedding dayWe had an absolutely amazing wedding day at Loch Lomond Waterfront. Lloyd and I loved getting married down at the water. The sun shone the whole day which made it even more special. Our guests also loved the venue and how peaceful it was during our ceremony. It was lovely just listening to the water during the minister's prayers. Lloyd and I both loved the intimacy of the venue and the stunning scenery it had to offer. The transitions for each part of the day were so quick and smooth. Even the guests commented on how smoothly everything ran. Our...
Such a beautiful setting'Myself and my partner recently stayed in Drummond Lodge (from 21-24 Feb) and we just wanted to say thank you so much for a lovely stay. We loved our lodge, it was like a home from home, and we really didn’t want to leave! It was spotlessly clean and in such a beautiful setting. All the staff we met were really friendly. We also loved Balmaha, what a wonderful village. So thank you very much! We are the couple that took Flynn for a walk and we took this photo of him... we thought you’d appreciate a copy. Thanks once again...
