Eating out

Most of the villages in this area have at least one or more local pub however below are some of our own favourites and recommendations that we have tried over the years.

The Oak Tree Inn, Balmaha

A family owned pub and restaurant looking out over the Balmaha boatyard. The Oak Tree is incredibly popular with both tourists and locals and is just a two minute walk from the lodges. A large open fireplace heats the bar throughout the winter months and during the summer customers often enjoy refreshments and dining outside in their beer garden. The Oak Tree also deliver superb Pizza’s, home baked in their traditional stone pizza oven.
