Water Activities

Enjoy a range of Loch Lomond water activities and sports

As the largest area of fresh water in the UK, the possibilities for Loch Lomond water activities are endless. And with our very own sandy beach with shallow water you needn’t go far to indulge. Here guests in our self-catering lodges can launch their own boats, providing that they only have a shallow draft and that the vehicle towing is four-wheel drive. For other craft, the adjacent boatyard has a concrete slipway and jetties for mooring.

Testimonials

  • We'll definitely be back again

'I just wanted to thank you for such a lovely stay.  The lodge was beautiful and the facilities and views amazing.  We will definitely be back again.'
  • Right up there with the best

'We have travelled the world and stayed in all sorts of accommodation - Loch Lomond Waterfront is right up there with the best. The facilities, quality of fixtures and fittings and the setting all add up to a superb holiday experience and one that I have no hesitation in recommending to anyone. Outstanding!'
  • A perfect place to relax

'Stayed at the Waterfront Lodges for a Fri to Mon short break for our daughters birthday last weekend. Lodge was placed right on the edge of Loch Lomond with stunning views.'
  • Our own private beach

'Just walking along the West Highland way path past some of the crowded beaches made us realise the value of having your own private waterfront onto the loch.  I can still picture walking down to the lochside on our first evening and watching an osprey dive for a fish!'
  • Stunning from top to bottom

'We booked this to relax after a family tragedy and it was the perfect tonic. Stunning from top to bottom. The rooms were perfect with all the facilities needed. The hot tub on a winters evening took it to another level. The blackout curtains, allied to no light pollution outside, meant wakening up was the most natural I had experienced for years.'
