Strathblane and Blanefield
Things to do in Stathblane and Blanefield
Although the two villages are separated by the Blane Burn, you would be forgiven for thinking Strathblane and Blanefield are one place. Nestled at the foot of the rolling Campise Fell Hills, Strathblane lies southwest of the Blane Burn and Blanefield sits northwest. Just a 25-minute drive from our Loch Lomond Waterfront luxury lodges.
Places to visit
The Kirkhouse Inn and Blane Valley Inn are great places to enjoy a drink or some food. The Blane Valley Inn locally referred to as the ‘BV’, is, in fact, the sister of The Oak Tree Inn in Balmaha, situated next to us here at Loch Lomond Waterfront! The Smithy Gallery is also worth a visit for the art lovers amongst you.
