Things to do in Luss
Luss is a pretty village on the western shores of Loch Lomond, a 35-minute drive from your accommodation at Loch Lomond Waterfront. Located within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, with the magnificent Ben Lomond and Luss Hills as a backdrop. You’ll find plenty of things to do in Luss.
Luss is very picturesque, with its neat rows of cottages, built in the 18th and 19th centuries to house the local slate quarry workers. You can get around easily on the Luss Village Paths, which will take you on a tour of the conservation village. Visit the Parish Church, see its beautiful stained-glass windows and explore its ancient churchyard. Walk along the beach. And be sure to take a wander down to Luss Pier for amazing views of Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond.
Legend has it that faeries live in the woods and forests around Loch Lomond. Follow the magical Loch Lomond Faerie Trail for some great outdoor family fun. You can purchase a guidebook from Loch Lomond Adventures, in the village car park.
Inverbeg Gallery is one of the largest retail art galleries in Europe. With four main gallery showrooms. It features ever changing displays of artwork from Scotland and all over the world. Browse original art, prints and giftware and perhaps find a piece of art to take home as a souvenir.

Could not have been happier'We could not have been happier with our choice of Loch Lomond Waterfront as our wedding venue! The amazing, stunning and extremely scenic location is really just the start of a long list of great things about this venue. We loved having site exclusivity for the whole weekend, it really made the atmosphere fun and got everyone socialising well. The wedding coordinator/manager, Sheena, is AMAZING and a total credit to the venue!! She is a dynamo that makes everything seem easy. We also loved how much flexibility and choice we had with pretty much everything about our wedding, and how...
Breathtaking views'Where to start! We chose the waterfront for our wedding because of the absolutely breathtaking views, location and surroundings. You can't put a price on a view like that. We were planning a small intimate wedding for 28, mid week at the waterfront and living all the way down in Kent, organising could have been so difficult if it wasn't for Sheena the wedding coordinators help. Everything was organised to a fabulous standard and despite my millions of emails she didn't get sick of me and was happy to email pictures and explain thoroughly. We were so lucky to have...
We'll definitely be back again'I just wanted to thank you for such a lovely stay. The lodge was beautiful and the facilities and views amazing. We will definitely be back again.'
Couldn't ask for a better day'We wanted to thank you so very much for all the hard work which went on behind the scenes both in the lead up to, and on the day of, our wedding. We could not have asked for a better day. Everything was exactly how we wanted it to be and a lot of that is down to all the hard work of Sheena and your staff. We have had so many compliments about how much everyone enjoyed our wedding.'
A magical getaway'It is not at all a surprise that you are fully booked. If there is one place in the world we would like to be this summer, that place is Loch Lomond Waterfront Lodges, and I’m sure the only people who don’t share this passion are those, who simply have never been there. What a magical getaway and a retreat you have created! Thank you for that.'
