Blair Drummond Safari Park | Loch Lomond Waterfront

Blair Drummond Safari Park

Go Wild at Blair Drummond

Around a 35-minute drive from here at Loch Lomond Waterfront, Blair Drummond Safari Park is a fantastic family day out. There’s a drive-through safari, but you can also visit all the animals in the park on foot. And with over 300 of them to see, from local farm animals to the rare and exotic, you’re in for a busy day! The park recommends at least 3 to 4 hours to see the main sights, but you can easily spend the whole day there.

Safari Drive

This is where you can take your own vehicle through the Blair Drummond reserves. Or you can join a mini-bus ride if you don’t have your own transport. The drive takes around 30 minutes. Look out for creatures such as lions, rhinos, antelope, monkeys, camel and deer.

Animal Viewing

In addition to the drive-through reserves, there is more plenty to see in the rest of the park. There are keeper talks and animal displays to enjoy. Including birds-of-prey displays and sealion presentations. You can also take a boat ride to Chimp Island.

Adventure Park

For the children, the adventure play park is lots of fun. It has a huge fort, a pirate ship and a hidden fairy land. So the little ones can let off some steam and let their imaginations run wild!

Food and drink

Blair Drummond has a food court, with plenty of places to grab hot or cold food and drinks. Burgers, pizzas and sandwiches are all on offer. But if you’d prefer to bring your own, there are benches and spaces for picnics. You can also use the BBQs at the park – just ask on arrival.

Testimonials

  • The staff go above and beyond

'The staff were fantastic and massive thank you to Rafal who was great checking everyone in on Friday and who also went above and beyond and took my grandparents back to their holiday cottage in Milton of Buchanan after the wedding!'
  • Our own private beach

'Just walking along the West Highland way path past some of the crowded beaches made us realise the value of having your own private waterfront onto the loch.  I can still picture walking down to the lochside on our first evening and watching an osprey dive for a fish!'
  • Just what we hoped for

'Thank you and all your team at the Waterfront for everything you did to make our wedding weekend so special.  It really was just what we hoped for and all our guests had nothing but the highest praise for all your staff.'
  • Could not have been happier

'We could not have been happier with our choice of Loch Lomond Waterfront as our wedding venue! The amazing, stunning and extremely scenic location is really just the start of a long list of great things about this venue. We loved having site exclusivity for the whole weekend, it really made the atmosphere fun and got everyone socialising well. The wedding coordinator/manager, Sheena, is AMAZING and a total credit to the venue!! She is a dynamo that makes everything seem easy. We also loved how much flexibility and choice we had with pretty much everything about our wedding, and how...
  • We knew it would be perfect

'From our very first visit to this venue we knew that it was going to be perfect for our reception! The setting is magical, with enchanting views on even the most dreich of days. The staff are fantastic and so accommodating. We loved that we had so much flexibility over our choices, unlike at other venues! There was plenty of space within the private function rooms, which gave our guests plenty of room to socialise while hiding from the wet west coast weather on our big day! It was great not having to share our day with uninvited guests. The...
