Allanwater Brewhouse

Brewery in Bridge of Allan

The Allanwater Brewhouse is located in Bridge of Allan, around 30 miles from us here at Loch Lomond Waterfront. This working microbrewery was founded in 1996. It has its own bar and two beer gardens, serving a selection of beers, ciders and other drinks. It regularly hosts live music events, beer festivals and pub quizzes. And also offers brewery tours, where you can learn more about the brewing process and sample some of their produce.

Bar and Beer Gardens

The bar has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This is a great place to come with friends, where you can enjoy a beer, cider or soft drink. There’s a cosy wood burner and interesting beer-related collections on the walls. With plenty of live events and festivals scheduled throughout the year. There are also two outdoor beer gardens.

Brewery Tours

There are three different levels of brewery tours available: Bronze, Silver and Gold, suiting different levels of interest. During the tour, you’ll discover how Allanwater Brewhouse makes its extensive range of beers and ciders, with the opportunity to sample some of them for yourself. The tours are very relaxed and informal. No two tours are the same, as they are tailored to each group.

Beer and Cider selection

The brewery produces an extensive range of beers and ciders, from traditional to more experimental flavours. View the range.

There are always at least eight beers and two ciders available in the bar. There’s also a shop on site, selling a range of brewery products, including bottled beer to take home, glasses and merchandise.

Testimonials

  • Our own private beach

'Just walking along the West Highland way path past some of the crowded beaches made us realise the value of having your own private waterfront onto the loch.  I can still picture walking down to the lochside on our first evening and watching an osprey dive for a fish!'
  • The perfect place to get married

'Our guests are still raving about the day – they were so happy with the setting, service and food, so thank you again. We will certainly be recommending you to everyone we come across as the perfect place to get married. '
  • Site exclusivity was amazing

"What made it for us was the site exclusivity. We had all our friends and family in one place for the whole weekend. Everyone keeps telling us it was the best wedding they have been to!”
  • Such a beautiful setting

'Myself and my partner recently stayed in Drummond Lodge (from 21-24 Feb) and we just wanted to say thank you so much for a lovely stay. We loved our lodge, it was like a home from home, and we really didn’t want to leave! It was spotlessly clean and in such a beautiful setting. All the staff we met were really friendly. We also loved Balmaha, what a wonderful village. So thank you very much! We are the couple that took Flynn for a walk and we took this photo of him... we thought you’d appreciate a copy. Thanks once again...
  • Could not have been happier

'We could not have been happier with our choice of Loch Lomond Waterfront as our wedding venue! The amazing, stunning and extremely scenic location is really just the start of a long list of great things about this venue. We loved having site exclusivity for the whole weekend, it really made the atmosphere fun and got everyone socialising well. The wedding coordinator/manager, Sheena, is AMAZING and a total credit to the venue!! She is a dynamo that makes everything seem easy. We also loved how much flexibility and choice we had with pretty much everything about our wedding, and how...
