LODGE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL
ARRIVAL AND CHECK IN TIMES Unless by prior arrangement check in times are as follows:
Check in from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Check out no later than 10.00am.
Later arrivals are asked to telephone us so that we can give the code for the key security box located by the main office door. We reserve the right to apply a surcharge for later departures that are not pre-agreed.
RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS A reservation only becomes confirmed when the deposit is received. Reservations for stays of 3 nights or more must be secured by a deposit of 30% of the holidays cost with the balance being received no later than 8 weeks prior to arrival. Late availability holidays must be paid in full to secure a reservation. Should you need to cancel for any reason you will forfeit a portion of your payment as follows:- [An administration fee of £20 will always be retained].

Telephone/email requests shall be held for 5 working days pending return of completed booking form and your deposit and/or full payment. We strongly recommend guests take out their own Cancellation Insurance Cover.
Bookings for those under 16 years of age cannot normally be accepted.
DISCLAIMER Payments are accepted by us in good faith and in the belief that the lodges will be placed at your disposal for the type and dates stated. If for any reason this is not possible through operational reasons or circumstances not under the control of the proprietor we will try to make another lodge available and will refund any price difference if appropriate. We will not charge any extra if we need to upgrade you to a more expensive lodge. However, if we are unable to make another lodge available then the deposit will be refunded in full and as such you will have no claim against the Proprietor or Agent. The Proprietors reserve the right to alter or amend the facilities or amenities available without prior notice.
PETS A maximum of 2 dogs or 2 cats may be allowed at the Proprietors’ discretion in certain lodges providing that notification is given at the time of booking. No other pets are allowed. Dogs and cats must be quiet and well behaved and restricted to public rooms only [not bedrooms]. Pets must not be left unattended in the lodge at any time and owners must bring suitable sleeping basket[s]. Fouling or nuisance in the environs of any lodges must be avoided. A minimum cleaning charge of £35 per stay will be applied.
CARAVANS, CAMPING AND FIRES Caravans and boats may be parked in our car park if we are given prior notification but they are not normally allowed in lodge parking spaces. Unfortunately tents cannot be erected on any part of the site and with the exception of BBQ’s hired from the Waterfront no fires may be lit.
ACCESS TO LODGES The Hirer shall allow the Proprietor entry to the properties for all reasonable purposes.
CAR PARKING Each lodge has two spaces nearby. Additional vehicles must be parked in the car park and the registration numbers of all cars notified to the main office. Cars may only be parked in designated spaces.
CLEANING/DAMAGES We require that all lodges should be left in a clean and tidy condition and that should any items be accidentally broken or damaged that you notify the Proprietors. The proprietors reserve the right to deduct the cost of making good damages or for excessive cleaning from the hirer’s credit/debit card account for a period of not more than 7 days after departures. If a party uses more than one lodge they are expected to ensure that each lodge has the correct inventory on departure.
A £100 security deposit will be held on your card from the day of arrival for 7 days after departure.
OCCUPANCY The number of people occupying the hired lodge must not exceed numbers stated on booking.
USE OF ACCOMMODATION The hired property shall be used solely for holiday purposes and the Hirer shall not sub-let the property or any equipment hired to the Hirer. Lodges may not be used for parties or gatherings, whether planned or impromptu, involving more than the insured capacity of each lodge (6) . We have a private function room and bar that can often be made available to groups by prior arrangement.
HOT TUBS AND QUIET ENJOYMENT The rights of other guests and local residents to enjoy the peace and quiet of the area must be respected at all times. For this reason we do not allow music to be played outside of the lodge or audible form the lodge patio. Hot tubs can be used between the hours of 7a.m and 11p.m. Guests are expected to moderate their sound and behaviour to avoid causing distress or offence at all times. The hirer is responsible for ensuring that all guests read and comply with hot tub conditions of use and safety notices displayed in the lodge.
HIRER’S PROPERTY No liability is accepted by Loch Lomond Leisure Limited for loss or damage to hired or passenger’s property, baggage, motor car etc., however caused nor for any accident or mishap to persons whilst on the premises. The Proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission of persons or pets that in the opinion of the Proprietor is/are not suitable to take charge or are causing a disturbance or nuisance which may upset the peace and tranquillity of other holiday makers. In the event of termination of a let a refund of any un-expired portion of rent will be made.
SMOKING is not permitted in any of our lodges.
HEN OR STAG PARTY BOOKINGS We regret that we cannot accept bookings which are, or which we deem to be, hen or stag parties.
CONTRACT No contract exists between us unless your deposit payment has cleared and you have received a booking confirmation letter by post or by email. When you submit a booking via our online reservation system you will receive an automatically generated booking summary by email to the email address you provide in the booking form.
