Just a short 20 miles from Glasgow or Stirling Castle, the south facing site has wonderful countryside views all around. Exclusive grounds surround the luxury lodges bounded by nature reserves and on the shores you will find some of the best fishing on Loch Lomond. Guests can benefit from our private beach which is ideal for sailing, boating, swimming, and all kinds of water sports.
Plenty to see and do
If you’re looking to unwind then simply relax in your private outdoor hot tub, soak up the scenery and enjoy our spa treatments and beauty therapy in the privacy of your own lodge. However, for those looking for more adventure, there is plenty to explore. The islands, mountains and watersports can all be enjoyed directly from your lodge with plenty of traditional Scottish castles, golf courses and outdoor activities just a short distance from Balmaha. Many of our guests use Waterfront Lodges accommodation as a base for an activity holiday.
Perfect for any occasion
We are ideally suited for couples who want to escape for a romantic Scottish break and enjoy the tranquil location and beautiful sunsets across the water. However, with so many outdoor adventure activities in the area, we are also a perfect choice for family self-catering holidays.
We also have a private function suite and lounge bar which can be hired for family celebrations and private dining events for a truly memorable occasion.
