There is always a lot to see and do in and
around our area. In and out of season local
villages and venues often host their own events
and Glasgow and Edinburgh can also be reached
easily for a day or a night out.
The following list is intended to give a
flavour of what is on and forthcoming.
- Farmer's Markets:
Balloch, Loch Lomond Shores First and third
Sundays of each month.
Featuring around 30 regular stallholders
ranging from cheese and chocolate makers
through to producers of organic eggs, beef,
lamb, pork, home made soup, smoked foods,
seafood, jams, confectionery and home
baking.

The ever popular, Aberfoyle Mushroom
Festival, is one example of the exciting
variety of events organised throughout the
year by Aberfoyle Traders' Association,
Forestry Commission Scotland and the Loch
Lomond and Trossachs National Park Rangers
highlighting the wealth of opportunities for
having a great time in and around Aberfoyle
and throughout Strathard.
